Hounds are known to have worked the Glamorgan Countryside since the 18th Century.

The Glamorgan Hunt country is located in South East Wales in Glamorgan and is boundary to the South by the Bristol Channel in the North by the M4 Motorway. Although this is not the official boundary, since 1980 it has become the accepted limit to the country. The country stretches from Porthcawl in the West, to Cardiff in the East. Our adjacent hunts are from West to East; Banwen Miners, Llangeinor, Pentyrch and Tredegar Farmers.

Today our pack follows a different form of hunting and it has been hard work for the Joint Masters and Hunt Staff to ensure continuity but within the law. None of this would be possible without the support of a large number of enthusiastic people of whom the farmers and landowners are the most important.

Please see visit our Glamorgan Hunt COVID-19 Update page for more information regarding 2020 meets.

Master's End of Season Update
1st May 2021

As the 2020/21 season draws to a close we would like to thank all the farmers, landowners and members who have supported us through a tricky season.

We would also like to say a very big thank you to Terry Edgell who has recently stepped down from the mastership after four seasons. Terry's support and enthusiasm has been invaluable to us, and we are extremely grateful to him.

Jane Thomas and Gareth Perkins joined the mastership on 1st May 2021, the four masters are eagerly looking forward to the forthcoming season.
