Record entries at the glamorgan Hunt Show this year helped to boost Hunt funds. A BIG THANK YOU to those Hunt members and non-Hunt members to kindly gave up their day to help. It was a long day for the stewards and even thuogh we started at 9am, we didn't finish until 7.30pm!
The weather was warm and sunny, which was very lucky as the day before and the day after were terible!
Thank you to Lt. Rhodri Traherne for letting us use his field.
My special thanks to Mike Gibbon MFH, who chatted away all day on the PA, Sue and the two Lizzes in the entry caravan, Pete Thomas, Kieth & Nicola Gibson, Fran Jones, The Cory Family for the catering, Fiona Martyn, Jane Williams, Eirlys Thomas, Eunice Williams, our lovely lady judges Rebecca Harries and Jenny Skull, the collecting ring stewards who stood for hours on end, Terry Edgell and Nick Smart, Jennifer Griffiths and her team for clear round jumping, the jump judges Ann Baraby and Caroline Langford... and finally Pete Morris who gave up his only day of rest in the week, to help his mum!
Thanks everyone for making the show a great success...Here's to next year! Sarah Morris

It is with great regret that we have learnt of the death of one of our great benefactors, Dewi Griffiths, who died on the morning,of, 28th June 2010. He was so generous to the Glamorgan Hunt, giving us the Puppy Show spoons for the Puppy Walkers for so many years. He was great fun to go hunting with and loved to watch hounds hunting. He looked after the clear round jumping at the Hunt Show for so many years. He will be very sadly missed and our thoughts are with Jennifer his wife.
